$pViTok
What $pViTok is
$pViTok is the Polygon-native rewards currency of Vivid Tokenz Studios — earned across the app and spent inside the ecosystem. It's the in-app token that powers milestone rewards, staking payouts, and community perks. (It shares the ViTok brand and 12-decimal format with the fixed-supply $ViTok token, but the two are separate balances, not the same asset moving across chains.)
How you earn it
- 🥚 Easter eggs hidden around the app.
- 🛒 NFT purchases across Vivid Tokenz Studios collections.
- 🔒 Staking — earn a steady yield for locking your tokens or NFTs.
- 🏁 Trade-milestone upgrades — accepting a TUSS per-NFT trade milestone pays a $pViTok reward.
Why hold it — benefits & use cases
- Rewards currency. Spend $pViTok throughout the marketplace — the more you take part, the more the ecosystem rewards you.
- Earn more by staking. Hold and stake to earn ongoing yield paid from the reward reserve, rather than letting a balance sit idle.
- Milestone & campaign rewards. Holders are the ones positioned to collect milestone payouts and seasonal-campaign drops as new collections launch.
- Access & perks (rolling out). $pViTok is designed to unlock holder perks across future drops — early access, allowlist priority, and in-app benefits tied to what you hold.
- One currency across every project. As Vivid Tokenz Studios adds collections over the coming years, $pViTok is the shared rewards layer that carries across all of them — what you earn on one project stays useful on the next.
Backed by a locked, disciplined reserve
$pViTok rewards are drawn from a dedicated reward reserve held in an on-chain vault, not minted freely on demand. The reserve is governed by rules baked into the contract so the reward economy can last for years across many projects:
- Per-project budgets. Every project gets an explicit lifetime reward allocation decided up front — it can never draw more than its budget.
- Annual emission caps. No project can release more than a set amount per year, so rewards can't be drained in a rush.
- Programmatic release. Budgets vest gradually over time (a linear drip), not through a discretionary faucet.
- Committed funds stay locked. Reserve backing a project's budget can't be withdrawn — only genuinely unallocated surplus can ever be moved.
Supply integrity & governance
Control of $pViTok — and of the reward vault — is held by a multisig behind a time-locked governance contract. That means changes like minting more $pViTok or adjusting a reward budget can't happen on a single hot key or on a whim: they must be proposed by the multisig and wait out a public time delay before they take effect. The goal is a rewards token whose supply and emissions are predictable and can't be quietly inflated.
Notes & disclaimers
- $pViTok is a utility/rewards token for use inside Vivid Tokenz Studios — not an investment or a security.
- Polygon $pViTok is a distinct balance from the Ethereum-side $ViTok; they are not bridged or interchangeable.
- Perks and mechanics marked as rolling out are on the roadmap and may change as they ship.
